Tom Chambers

Chambers Tom Chambers, the first unrestricted free agent in NBA history, signed with Phoenix on July 5, 1988 and helped transform the Suns into instant title contenders. During his five seasons in the Valley, he set franchise records for both points in a game (60) and scoring average (27.2 ppg), and helped lead the Suns to three Western Conference Finals appearances and one NBA Finals stop. TC also represented Phoenix during three All-Star Games. Today, Chambers represents the franchise through the Suns' community relations efforts, and his name was added to the team's Ring of Honor in 1999.
